Why ISLAM?
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Prayers and peace be upon the most honorable of creation and messengers, and those who follow them in goodness until the Day of Judgment
It is a great pleasure that Allah guided you here.
Then, with the plurality of religions, there must be one true religion, which people follow, believe in, and profess.
Historical miracle
The evidence for the truthfulness of Islam is numerous and almost countless, first:
The Holy Quran:
It has been preserved from corruption for more than 1,400 years and is the only unmistakable book, and was revealed to an illiterate person in the desert
No one could find a single contradiction, for how could it be from human beings!!
There are many indications of his sincerity:
Historical miracle:
In the Prophet's (ﷺ) lifetime, information was scarce, as books were hard to come across. The Prophet (ﷺ) was also an illiterate man, which restricted the information available to him even further. For a remarkably long time, people thought that whoever ruled Egypt was called Pharaoh. That is what the Qur’an used to describe the ruler at the time of Moses, peace be upon him. The Almighty said:
هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰٓ *
إِذْ نَادَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ بِٱلْوَادِ ٱلْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى*
ٱذْهَبْ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ
which means:
1. Has the story of Moses reached you ˹O Prophet˺?
2. His Lord called him into the sacred valley of Ṭuwa
3. ˹commanding,˺ “Go to Pharaoh, for he has truly transgressed ˹all bounds˺.

Work
However, the Qur’an used the word king when it referred to the ruler at the time of the Prophet of God, Joseph, peace be upon him, who was in Egypt:
[Yusuf: 76].
˹To distance themselves,˺ Joseph’s brothers argued, “If he has stolen, so did his ˹full˺ brother before.” But Joseph suppressed his outrage—revealing nothing to them—and said ˹to himself˺, “You are in such an evil position, and Allah knows best ˹the truth of˺ what you claim.”
Recent historical studies revealed that the ruler at the time of Joseph, peace be upon him, was called a king, which makes it an accurate miraculous matter for an illiterate man who did not know how to read or write.
فَبَدَأَ بِأَوْعِيَتِهِمْ قَبْلَ وِعَاءِ أَخِيهِ ثُمَّ اسْتَخْرَجَهَا مِن وِعَاءِ أَخِيهِ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كِدْنَا لِيُوسُفَ ۖ مَا كَانَ لِيَأْخُذَ أَخَاهُ فِي دِينِ الْمَلِكِ إِلَّا أَن يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ نَرْفَعُ دَرَجَاتٍ مَّن نَّشَاءُ وَفَوْقَ كُلِّ ذِي عِلْمٍ عَلِيمٌ
-The water cycle:
The Qur’an talks about high cumulus clouds that respond to heavy rain, snow, and hail.
Allah the Almighty says:
[An-Nur: 43].
This verse is one of the scientific miracles with accurate information about cloud formation and hail geometrics.
And it means:
Do you not see that Allah gently drives the clouds, then joins them together, piling them up into masses, from which you see raindrops come forth? And He sends down from the sky mountains ˹of clouds˺ loaded with hail, pouring it on whomever He wills and averting it from whoever He wills. The flash of the clouds’ lightning nearly takes away the eyesight.
(أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُزْجِي سَحَابًا ثُمَّ يُؤَلِّفُ بَيْنَهُ ثُمَّ يَجْعَلُهُ رُكَامًا فَتَرَى الْوَدْقَ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ خِلَالِهِ وَيُنَزِّلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مِنْ جِبَالٍ فِيهَا مِنْ بَرَدٍ فَيُصِيبُ بِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَصْرِفُهُ عَنْ مَنْ يَشَاءُ يَكَادُ سَنَا بَرْقِهِ يَذْهَبُ بِالْأَبْصَارِ)

قُلْ لَئِنِ اجْتَمَعَتِ الْإِنْسُ وَالْجِنُّ عَلَى أَنْ يَأْتُوا بِمِثْلِ هَذَا الْقُرْآنِ لَا يَأْتُونَ بِمِثْلِهِ وَلَوْ كَانَ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ ظَهِيرًا
-The challenge of the Quran:
Allah revealed the Quran to an illiterate man among an eloquent people, so he challenged them to produce such a Qur’an.
God Almighty says:
[Al-Esraa: 88].
Which means:
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “If ˹all˺ humans and jinn were to come together to produce the equivalent of this Quran, they could not produce its equal, no matter how they supported each other.”

-The challenge of ten Surahs:
No one from the Quraish(Mohammed'sﷺ people) could produce such a Qur'an, but they still denied them. So God Almighty commanded them to come up with ten surahs if they could. And ten surahs from the Quran are less than four pages!!
[Houd: 13].
Which means:
Or do they say, "He invented it"? Say, "Then bring ten surahs like it that have been invented and call upon [for assistance] whomever you can besides Allah, if you should be truthful
أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُ ۖ قُلْ فَأْتُوا۟ بِعَشْرِ سُوَرٍۢ مِّثْلِهِۦ مُفْتَرَيَـٰتٍۢ وَٱدْعُوا۟ مَنِ ٱسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ* فَإِلَّمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا۟ لَكُمْ فَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّمَآ أُنزِلَ بِعِلْمِ ٱللَّهِ وَأَن لَّآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ
أَمْ يَقُولُونَ ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ ۖ قُلْ فَأْتُوا۟ بِسُورَةٍۢ مِّثْلِهِۦ وَٱدْعُوا۟ مَنِ ٱسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ
-The challenge of one Surah:
And since the Qur’an is the book of God and his words
The Quraysh lost the challenge, so God Almighty called them to come up with one surah, and the surah from the Qur’an is less than a third of a page.
[Yunus: 38].
Which means:
Or do they claim, “He made it up!”? Tell them ˹O Prophet˺, “Produce one sûrah like it then, and seek help from whomever you can—other than Allah—if what you say is true!”
One Surah!!
-Abu Lahab:
Abu Lahab is one of the main polytheists in the Quraish who attacked and harmed the Messenger.
These verses were revealed in Mecca.
The Quran tells with complete assurance that Abu Lahab and his wife are among the people of Hell, meaning that they will never believe. Thus, many of the polytheists of Mecca believed out of faith or surrender. But these two disbelieved, neither in reality nor in appearance.
Almighty says:
[Al-Masad].
Which means:
May the hands of Abu Lahab perish, and he ˹himself˺ perishes!
Neither his wealth nor ˹worldly˺ gains will benefit him.
He will burn in a flaming Fire.
and ˹so will˺ his wife, the carrier of ˹thorny˺ kindling.
around her neck will be a rope of palm-fiber
This was one of the earliest surahs revealed in the Quran. Paradoxically, for Abu Lahab to disprove the Quran, all he had to do was accept Islam because this verse condemns him to Hell!!
تَبَّتْ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍۢ وَتَبَّ * مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ * سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًۭا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍۢ * وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلْحَطَبِ *فِى جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌۭ مِّن مَّسَدٍۭ
Atmosphere
-Atmosphere Pressure:
One of the most important scientific facts mentioned in the Qur’an is atmospheric pressure.
No one knew only a few years ago that atmospheric pressure increases with altitude, but this verse showed that fact 1400 years ago!!
Almighty says:
[Al-An'am-125].
Which means:
Whomever Allah wills to guide, He opens their heart to Islam. But whomever He wills to leave astray, He makes their chest tight and constricted as if they were climbing up into the sky. that's how Allah dooms those who disbelieve.
فَمَن يُرِدِ ٱللَّهُ أَن يَهْدِيَهُۥ يَشْرَحْ صَدْرَهُۥ لِلْإِسْلَـٰمِ ۖ وَمَن يُرِدْ أَن يُضِلَّهُۥ يَجْعَلْ صَدْرَهُۥ ضَيِّقًا حَرَجًۭا كَأَنَّمَا يَصَّعَّدُ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَجْعَلُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرِّجْسَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
FINALLY
God Almighty revealed this Qur’an to an illiterate man to be proof for people, and for them to know that this Messenger did not bring the Qur’an from him.
Almighty says:
سَنُرِيهِمْ ءَايَـٰتِنَا فِى ٱلْـَٔافَاقِ وَفِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُ ٱلْحَقُّ ۗ أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِ بِرَبِّكَ أَنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ شَهِيدٌ
[Fussilat - 53]
We will show them Our signs in the universe and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that this ˹Quran˺ is the truth. Is it not enough that your Lord is a Witness over all things?
