If they happen to be aboard a ship ˹caught in a storm˺, they cry out to Allah ˹alone˺ in sincere devotion. But as soon as He delivers them ˹safely˺ to shore, they associate ˹others with Him once again˺ * So let them be ungrateful for all We have given them, and ˹let them˺ enjoy themselves ˹for now˺! For they will soon know.
Including that when a person suffers, he turns to God Almighty, as He said:

A Bedouin was asked before about the existence of God, and he said, citing reason:
The sky is full of stars, the earth has wide roads and seas with waves.
Does it not indicate the Subtle, the All-Knowing?
One of the atheists - who does not believe in God - challenged a Muslim scholar to respond to them, and on time everyone waited for the scholar's arrival, but he was late. The atheist said to those present: Your scholar fled and was afraid he would be defeated and prove to you that the universe has no god!
During his speech, the Muslim scholar came and apologized for his delay. He said: On the way here, I did not find a boat to cross the river, and I waited on the shore, and suddenly planks of wood appeared in the river, and they gathered together quickly and orderly until it became a ship, then it approached me I it on and came to you. The atheist said: This man is insane, so how can wood coalesce into a boat without anyone making it, and how does it move without someone moving it?! So the scholar smiled and said: You denied that the ship is without a leader, and you decided that the universe is without a creator?!
Allah...
O He to whom we turn to in our prosperity and adversity, if we disobey, then He forgives, and if we need, He gives, and if we seek refuge, He forgives.
Glory be to Him in whose hand is the kingdom of all evil, and He is the Most Merciful, the most Gracious.
